Baby Claire – Inspired by Claire, Made for you.
We’re inspired by Claire, our own baby girl, who had a very serious eczema outbreak at 4 months old. It was a lot of pain for Claire and a nightmare for the whole family. As believers of natural and oriental remedies, we eventually found TCM.
We researched Green Tea to discover its superb healing properties when used as skincare and we used it on Claire. The results were amazing - her skin improved quickly and stabilised over time. And… she started smiling again after months of crying!

Green Tea is a natural antioxidant, and is packed with polyphenols, which are plant compounds with powerful anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. All of which makes it effective in reducing irritation, soothing troubled skin, and protecting it from external damage.

Manuka Honey
Honey is an effective treatment against wounds and to soothe irritated skin conditions such as eczema due to its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. It helps our skin draw in moisture, balance pH levels, and slough away dead cell debris to keep clean.

Calendula Flower extract
These beautiful marigold flowers (Calendula officinalis) are pretty and also pretty amazing for adults and babies alike - its natural oil extracts are often used in healing wounds, soothing eczema, and relieving diaper rash. It helps the skin retain moisture, soothe irritation, and even reduce future sensitivity.
And all that magic is because Calendula is rich in natural antioxidants, and has antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties.

Echium Seed Oil
This natural plant oil is a rich source of phospholipids and saturated fatty acids and also boosts collagen production. All these repair our skin's top epidermis layer to improve hydration and reduce roughness, thereby inducing a soothing effect on dry and uncomfortable skin.
With regular use, the skin's protective barrier is strengthened and moisture levels are retained which thus makes the skin less sensitive in future. That's just great news for stabilising the baby skin against future flare-ups!

Balloon Vine extract
Naturally derived from the herb Cardiospermum Halicacabum, Balloon Vine extract is commonly found in Asian culture touted for medicinal use. What for?
It is very well tolerated even by sensitive skin; and is packed with antioxidants and fatty acid compounds that have shown great results in treating dermatitis and other inflammatory and itchy skin conditions like eczema.

Oat Kernel extract
A common champion in many baby moisturisers and rightfully so - Oats are a natural skin cleanser, which removes dirt and oil from the skin and smoothens its texture.
It is also great for balancing the microbes on our baby's skin which helps soothe the effects of eczema-prone skin conditions and other irritations.

Echinacea Root extract
Naturally extracted from the herbaceous flower also known as Purple Coneflower, Echinacea provides hydration, boosts our skin's natural moisturizing factors, and protects the skin's outer layer in helping to lock in moisture.
With daily use, early research shows results in soothing eczema-related irritation and building up the protective outer layer of skin.

Propolis extract
Propolis is a natural compound produced by bees some call “bee glue”. It is gentle on sensitive skin and well-known for its healing properties to treat wounds and fight infections as it is antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial.
It speeds up wound healing and encourages quicker skin turnover by creating a protected environment for skin repair. And that’s why we put it in our Skin Calmer to aid in your baby’s recovery from any flare-ups.

Eucalyptus Leaf Oil
Lab studies have shown that Eucalyptus oil may increase cermaide production which helps trap water in the skin to create a moisture-sealing barrier to prevent and relieve dryness, flaking, and discomfort.
It also cleanses the epidermis and rids our pores of harmful impurities that can cause irritation.
